Ernest was preceeded in death by his parents Theodore & Henrietta Griffin. 2 sisters Rosa & Mary Griffin. 1 brother Theodore Griffin Jr.

He is survived by 4 sisters Lela Christian, Henrietta Boney, Dorothy Griffin and Betty Lindsey. 3 brothers Bennie Griffin, Benjamin Griffin and Burnette (Karen) Griffin. A special niece Cassandra Mclean and a host of nephews nieces and friends.
