Natalie Russell Lockett

Natalie Darlene Russell Lockett was born to the late Clarence and Peggy Russell on February 22, 1961 at DC General in Washington DC. She departed this earthly life on Monday, December 12, 2022.

Natalie was very loving and caring. Natalie was a member of her brother Reverend Ronald Russell’s church where she maintained her faith in Christ. Natalie was a loving mother, sister, aunt, friend and wife. Natalie enjoyed spending time with her family and was extremely close with her in-laws to include her special bond with Patsy who her husband called “Her Buddy”. Natalie had a love for Looney Tune characters in which she enjoyed watching in her free time. Natalie loved watching the family’s kids grow and enjoyed hanging out with her sisters Pamela and “Galey”. Natalie was a pure joy and light to anyone she encountered.

Natalie leaves behind Husband James Lockett, Sisters Gale A. Russell, Pamela J. Thomas, Joanne K. Russell,  Sister’s in law, Priscilla Hughley, Veronica Hughley Pearl, Ramona Johnson, Frida Lockhart, Joy Curry, Brothers, Marvin A. Russell, Ronald C, Russell and Kevin McFadden, , Brothers in law, Terry Lockett, Dexter Allen, Tyrone Hughley along with a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Natalie is proceeded in death by her son Langley L. Russell, Brothers, Donald E. Russell, Jerry K. Russell, and Sister Tuesday E. Russell.
